Help support our "Fight for the Cure!" campaign by bidding on a complete set of ANH 3di Topps trading cards!  Andy, an Honorary SWC from the UK, is auctioning the cards off in a blind auction, and will donate the proceeds from the auction to our campaign.  Bidding ends at noon (London time) on Monday, Sept. 20.  Thanks, Andy!!

Star Wars on VH1 and A&E

This Saturday, September 18th, at 10 pm (ET/PT), VH1 will be airing a special entitled “When Star Wars Ruled The World”.  Throughout the episode hear exclusively from the stars themselves including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Mark Hamill and James Earl Jones as they intimately chronicle the making of “Star Wars” their experience and how this fictional block-buster phenomenon changed their lives.

Also, A&E is airing a special 90-minute version of Empire of Dreams throughout the month, including this Sunday. Check local listings for times. Dragon*Con 2004

2004 will mark Star Wars Chicks fifth year in a row at Dragon*Con, the Science Fiction and Fantasy convention held each Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, GA.

JediGirl and Crysta (and their significant others) will once again be present at the festivities, mingling with fans and celebrities alike and staying up until the wee hours of the morning.  They invite you to join them and other Star Wars fans (including members of the 501st and Rebel Legion) for what is sure to be a great weekend! 

Confirmed Star Wars guests for this year include Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Ann Crispin (Author of The Han Solo Trilogy), Richard LeParmentier (Admiral Motti), Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Rena Owen (Taun We), Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Steve Sansweet, and Eric Powell and Drew Johnson (of Dark Horse Comics).

Female Star Wars Fans on En Direct this Sunday

This Sunday, February 15, at 7 PM Eastern, Star Wars en Direct will be airing a live web based radio show entitled Girl Power! The Women of Star Wars Fandom.  The show's hosts have invited all Star Wars Chicks to tune in, join their live chat, and participate in the show.  Visit their website to learn more, including details on how to participate.  The show will also include an interview with Voronica Whitney Robinson, author of The Ruins of Dantooine.  The 7 PM show will be conducted in English, but for those who may be interested, an earlier show at 1 PM Eastern will be in French.
