Physical Description: Derigo is tall for his age with black hair on top of his head. He has medium thin eyes and light brown skin- on earth we would think we was Hispanic or Hawaiian. He doesn't really have a regular outfit he wears. If outside of Jet's ship (The Hammerjet), he normally wears a just below hip level black Jacket with lots of pockets. He carries a small, but powerful blaster and a dart launcher and a couple other toys on a thick black leathery belt around his waist. If he wasnts to appear imposing or needs to hid alot of something on him, he also has a black trenchcoat he wears. When just doing casual, he wears a normal t-shirt or other casual Star Wars wear. Most noticeably is he almost always has a smile on his face.

Background: Derigo was born on planet Heliaa a prodigy ( or diamond in the rough). His family was a long line of information dealers. Even in school, he was one; trading info about tests, teachers, or other students for candy or other toys. One horrible days when he was six, Imperials stormed into his home and killed his family for giving away Imperial secrets. The stormtroopers refused to kill him because he was a child. An officer gave him a near fatal blow to the head. He was almost buried when he banged in his coffin at the funeral and his illegitamate Uncle saved him. He was on another planet and his Uncle adopted him. Unfortunately, the blow to the head had given him a slight case of amnesia and he couldn't remember anything. The Uncle didn't know much either and didn't tell Derigo much, including his last name. He raised him as a full blown information dealer traveling planet to planet. When he was about eight, his unlce died of heart failure and Derigo was left on his own. He hitched rides on any ship he could and learned everything he could about piloting from the star pilots. Eventually his hitchiking landed him on Tatooine. He was nine. It was here he met Jet vega. At the time he had a major hot shot attitude- he was the youngest information dealer in the galaxy after all passing on all the secrets his uncle had taught him. He charged Jet an outrageuos fee for the info she asked for (a job where she couyld fly her freighter, the Hammerjet). Jet practically threatened to kill him because of his cockiness and held him at blasterpoint until he gave her the location of a planet where he had suggested she could get a job with a smuggling boss named Donrin who was quite fond of young Derigo. This was where he gave Jet her nickname of "Eyes of Fire" (her staredown scared him).After a few months, Derigo became a member of Donrin's group and he and Jet became friends. She taught him the details of freighter piloting and they were two of the best teams there was. A third person was added when they had to smuggle an orphan mechanic named Dean calan out of an overbearing military school. Dean and Derigo are practically like brothers now. Derigo left Donrin's organization when Jet was issued a price on her head by the man and Derigo was threatened for not giving them her location. They found eachother again eventually. Jet had become a New Republic agent. Derigo was a supporter of the republic so he joined her along with Dean.

Personality: He's a wisecracker and a teenager- that's pretty much all there is to it. He's very friendly and still has a little too much ego than he needs, but is a really cool guy to know.

Objectives: To get a YT-2400 Corellian Freighter (similar to Dash Rendar's outrider) to survive, help his friends, survive, and keep it cool.

Miscellaneous: He can fight well thanks to his years on the street and can sneak around very well. He knows allot of things you wouldn't expect a teenager to know and knows the fringe like it's his house. His occasional flashes of cockiness can get him into trouble and Jet thinks he's absolutely ridiculous when he does this.
