Kantor Hal |
|
Contact: arc_et_fleche@yahoo.com Nicknames: Most frequently, he's simply called "Hal" by friends or . . . well, anyone. Somtimes, though, people revert to using "Kan" as a shorter version of his name. Template: Padawan Learner Species: Human Age: 13 Gender: Male Height: 5'7" Weight: 127 lbs Physical Description: Longish, unruly chestnut-colored hair is always found hanging into his face, making somewhat of a curtain for green eyes rimmed with gold. On the matter of his body, he's on the slim side, though it does hold lean muscle due to the constant sparrs, etc. In that way, he is very lean, flexible, able to slip into small places, an ability he uses to the fullest capacity. His skin is naturally a slightly golden, caramel color, probably because his family had lived on Tatooine for many generations. Naturally, his mother would call him handsome, but extending further than that, he is handsome, though it's not something he takes great note of. Background: Due to his mother's unhappiness, his parents, with his older brother, moved from Tatooine to Coruscant, where he was born. He has a nuclear family, with father, mother, and siblings. Of course, though, he didn't quite get a chance to know his family, as he was taken from them by the Jedi at a very young age. As for his siblings, he has one older brother (Brett, two years older) and one younger brother (three years younger). He knows of his family, has seen them a few times, and though he connects with them, sometimes finds himself wishing he had his mother to help him, he, on the whole, doesn't think of them very often. His father is a pilot, something the man takes great pride in, and in knowing that bit of information, Kantor seems to enjoy flying as well, though it's not one of his great spots. On the whole, his family is not insanely wealthy, but they're rich enough to not be considered peasants, even if they have some monetary struggles here and there. Personality: A bit on the impatient side, but very eager to learn. Kantor has always been enthusiastic about saber practices, but sometimes had gotten into trouble with the Masters at a younger age for fighting needlessly with classmates. It wasn't his fault, he'd protest, they'd tempted him. And, in a way, they did, as boys can do, and he unfortunately made a few rivals during that age. Quicker in his classes than the other students, he always wanted to push ahead, for he'd grown tired of the repitition, and that spurred some jealously among the other children. Unfortunately, his anger and frustration, both at himself and at peers, is always nudging the corner of his mind, making him strive to dampen it perpetually. Special Abilities: He has a sort of knack for languages, and he's always found them very intriguing. Consequently, he is able to converse fluently in Huttese, Pre-Corellian, Bocce, and Wookiee in addition to Basic. Important Possessions: From the moment he built it, he grew extremely attatched to his green lightsaber, something he keeps with him at all times. He owns nothing of his family's though, but it doesn't quite bother him as much as some would expect. Objectives: As any student in the temple, he desperately wishes to become a Jedi Knight, to be such a defender of justice and peace and goodness. And for any short-term goals, he concentrates on not letting the jibes of his rivals get under his skin. For anger leads to the Dark Side, as he is always told, and that's the furthest thing from what he wants. Quote: "I push myself to laugh at everything for fear of having to cry about it." Miscellaneous: Obviously, he's force-sensitive. Quicker to anger than most of the students in the temple, as well. Although he does his best to control it, it sometimes gets the better of him, "pushing him to the edge" of sorts. He tends to let his emotions loose, and though rare, this seems to happen only during a fight, especially with a saber. As one would expect, he is very dangerous at those times, and he over-exherts himself, weariness causing him to pass out in extreme cases. Even so, he is the most bright in his classes, very adept to learn things, and he has an array of models and whatnot littering his living quarters. Favorite Scene: Actually I was reading Rogue Planet, the bit in the beginning when Obi-Wan has to go out looking for Anakin in the illegal races and puts on the racing wings himself. Amused me to no end, it did. Especially the way they described him. "The first maneuver that Obi-Wan mastered, however, was to fall straight down. About three hundred meters." All right, it may not be that funny . . . but, hey. I'm entitled to have my humor. |
