Description: 6'1", brown hair and eyes. Traditionally wears either a dark blue pilots jumpsuit with a cloak of the same color or a standard jedi outfit, i.e. the brown tunic pants and cloak. weighs approx. 170, and is in shape but not muscular.

History: A native Corellian, Saell was born in Coronet City. His father owns a small shipping line, so his family was not rich, but rather in  the upper middle class. Saell's father, Dolan, taught him to fly from an  early age, and Saell was running cargo for him by 16.
His family was  neutral, with Alliance leanings, so as soon as they learned that Coruscant was New Republic, the family moved the shipping line there, to get out from under the Diktat's oppressive grasp. While on one of his runs,  he got a summons to Correllia. Fearing the worst, Saell flew there  without incident to find he had been named sole
beneficiary o a grandfather  who he never met. While sorting through his grandfathers small estate,  he found evidence linking his family to the Jedi of the Old Republic. 
Bringing the evidence to his father, he was told that though hi  grandfather was a Jedi, he feared for his own life, and abandoned the Order.  Ashamed of his father's actions, Dolan had prevented his son Saell from  ever finding out. After learning this, Saell flew to Yavin IV to join  Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy at the age of 18, and is now a Jedi Knight.

Possessions: His ship Starbeam, a freighter with two quad laser banks  on the sides and the living quarters above the cargo holds and engines,  so it looks somewhat like a disk with a squarish section on top.
A Dathomiri grappling hook and cord he found on the black market. He usually prefers not to deal with black marketers, but this item caught his fancy.
His lightsaber. It is crafted so it has a dark blue blade, which is his  favorite color due to the fact it is the main color for his father's  shipping line. It has a silver durasteel casing
without any special  markings.

Abilities: His best force skill is easily telekinesis, and has a bit of  control over Alter Mind techniques, though less than most of other  candidates and Knights, save for maybe Tionne. He is gifted with being able  to sense things with the Force, and uses this to help
him with  piloting. He can pilot freighters and shuttle, but has trouble with ships like fighters, due to their much increased speed and maneuverabilty. Saell  is a decent fighter, and will use the cord and hook to tangle his  opponents feet if necessary. He can fight equally well
hand-to-hand or with a  lightsaber, though he prefers not to use his lightsaber.

Personality: Saell tries to view things with a sense of humor, but when  the situation calls for it he can quickly become serious. He is usually  calm, and confident in his own abilities. He is loyal to his frinds,  and suspicion is not easily roused against those he knows. He is a little  too trusting, and that has gotten him into more than one scrape. Saell  can be sarcastic, but at times he uses a bit moresarcasm than is  needed. He is not arrogant or prideful, but cannotstand people who do act like that, and will usually find some way to embarrass them. Any time he  does start praiseing himself, he is usually just
kidding.

Objectives: Saell's only mission is the defense of the New Republic,  and will do what is needed of him.

Miscellaneous: He is allergic to pollen, so needless to say, he was less than thrilled to see Yavin IV was a jungle planet, and spent the whole time there sneezing. He hates spiders, but that is his only phobia. He enjoys  the odd practical joke, even if it is directed at him.
