Physical Description: A tall man with dark hair, wearing long, flowing, black robes. He wields two lightsabers ( One in each hand, obviously). His skin is paler than normal but his eyes are piercing. 

Background: Derrik's home planet is Antooine, a fiercly loyal imperial system, notable for its large population of Aaranoks ( Large non-sentient birds with brilliant blue feathers). Derrik joined the Imperial navy at a young age, and  proved a competent pilot and a skilled warrior. He was discovered to be force sensitive, and was transferred to be trained as a dark jedi. But the program was cancelled when the Empire collapsed. Derrik then spent three years travelling to various deserted jedi temples, seeking to hone his force-powers. He then returned to Antooine and made a name for himself as captain of the ISD 'Tempest' while serving in the Antooinian Home Defence Fleet, which he still commands today

Personality: Derrik has a good sense of humor, though he can be dark and brooding at times. He is very loyal to the Empire, though he considers the Emperor's rule, and the following wars, a disgrace to its name. Derrik holds  honor to be more important than anything else, And will never Lie. He is wise, but has trouble getting people to listen to him. He does not deal well with fools, and tends to deal harshly with such. He is also ambitious almost to a fault. 

Objectives: Derrik wants more than anything to rebuild and reform the Empire, Governing and defending the people, rather than terrorizing them. He is currently on a campain to gain support for the Empire, as well as for himself, as he intends to set himself up as emporor. Though he considers the New Republic to be weak and inefficient, He is also working to secure peace between the Empire and the New Republic.

Miscellaneous: While weaker than most in other force-abilities, Derrik is especially talented with telekinetic force-powers. One of his favorite is to redirect missiles aimed at the 'Tempest' towards enemy ships, though this is difficult. His personal ship is the 'Aaranok', an Antooinian 'Vorpal' class interceptor. Due to his attempts to rebuild the Empire, most die-hard New Republic fanatics want him dead, and attack him frequently. He has obliterated all attacking forces so far, though this has hardly made him more popular.
