Gender: Female

Physical Description: Sleante is an Arrani, her race has blue skin and a rainbow of hair colors. They resemble humans in physical appearance, with a few exceptions. Sleante has cobalt blue skin, and long, straight, bright, red hair. Her eyes are Amber colored. She stands about six feet, five inches tall and has a toned, muscular build. She’s bipedal and has four fingers on each hand and four toes on each foot. She weighs about 150 lbs, which gives her a well toned look for her height. Her facial features are fine, she has thin red eyebrows that arch above her almond shaped eyes. Her nose is small and a little bit pointed and her lips are full, but not very big. Her face is heart shaped and her eyes are spaced evenly apart (not too close together or too far apart.) Her ears are round and not connected to her head. She has her ears pierced all the way from the lobe to the top, making a grand total of eight studs on each ear. On her right arm is a tattoo of two snakes intertwined in a circle, one red and one yellow. Most of the time she wears her traditional Jedi clothes, but she will also wear green shirts, short sleeved and long, and brown pants on occasion. On her feet she wears black boots when she’s outside, which come up to her knee, and inside she wears brown sandles.

Background: Arran, is a planet in the central region of the Hapes cluster. It’s a forest planet, with decidous trees and a warm climate. The people that live there all have blue skin, but their hair colors can be a rainbow. Red, yellow, green, white, orange, and black, are the common hair colors. Eye color is usually amber, but there is a genetic possibility of getting blue, yellow, or red eyes. Arrani range in height from six feet to six feet eight inches tall, have only four fingers and toes on each arm and foot. Each Arrani child is a twin. The Arrani have two children each pregnancy, so Sleante, naturally, has a twin. Usually the twins are a boy-girl combination and the parents can have anywhere from one set to ten, depending. Every once in a great while a single child is born, but this is very rare. Arrani culture is complex. These people are excellent con artists, and this is reflected in their planets appearance. The unwary traveler that stops off on Arrani will see a mideaval type society, seemingly without technology. Nothing could be further from the truth. The primitive looking buildings are only primitive on the outside. If the traveler were to go into a home, he would find droids doing the cleaning and all kinds of advanced technology in the home. This outward look of primitiveness allows the Arrani con artist to pretend that they don’t have what the traveler is selling, easily duping the unsuspecting visitor. The con artist usually ships out his daily fare to smugglers that will take them all over the galaxy, in exchange for keeping the secret that the con artist isn’t a poor farmer. Sleante and her brother were born into a middle class family on Arran, and after a few years it became apparent they both had force ability and at the age of five years, their parents gave them to the JedI to raise and train on Yavin IV, they were given permission to visit every once in awhile. Sleante was born into a middle class Arrani family, her father was a merchant, selling technology to the average Arrani (in secret when visitors are around, of course) But now she has achieved the rank of Jedi Knight.

Political Affiliation: Supports the New Republic

Significant Family/Friends/Past relations: Sleante, as I already said, has a twin brother, his name is Cleante (pronounced Clay-ahn-tay). Sleante’s tattoo on her right arm signifies her relationship with her twin. Cleante has the exact same tattoo on his left arm, these were given to them at birth, and every Arrani has one. He is identical in appearance to Sleante except his hair is bright yellow. He too is a Jedi Knight, but unlike Sleante, he has achieved the rank of Master. He lives on Yavin IV with her and they see each other regularly. Her parents, Tiree and Firth, still keep in contact with her. Sleante and Cleante have one set of brother-sister. Their names are Cavan and Navan. Cavan being the male and Navan being the female. Cavan has white hair and Navan has yellow hair. Cavan and Navan have moved off Arran and run a lucrative smuggling business, they are a source of annoyance to their brother and sister, Sleante and Cleante are always looking for a way to shut down their business. Sleante has not had any lovers, yet.

Current and Former Occupations: Sleante has been in training and practicing the JedI arts since she was five years old.

Personality: Sleante is very soft spoken, she speaks with a musical voice in a low husky tone. She’s very outgoing and adventurous, always looking for some new exciting thing to do. She can be sarcastic sometimes, but most of the time she keeps it in check. Most importantly, she has a temper. This was an issue during her training, but she has managed to keep it under control…most of the time. Her biggest weakness is her brother. Her special connection to her twin causes him to be a sensitive subject whenever he is brought up in conversation. She can either be very forthcoming with information about him, depending on the person she’s talking to, or, she can clam up and not say a word. Her movements, body language, is very fluid. And, she has a tendency to talk with her hands.

Special Abilities: Sleante can, of course, speak her native language, but she also speaks Galactic Basic. She is well rounded in her Jedi Abilities, with a talent for telekinesis. She’s very clumsy and not very knowledgeable with technology. She does, however, have the ability to learn languages fast. And, she plays the guitar. She loves to read, that’s her favorite hobby and she doesn’t have any hidden talents.

Important Possessions: Her light saber is her most important possession, it has a blue blade that matches her skin color. Besides her light saber, she has a necklace that her mother gave her which has a silver chain and a green colored stone dangling, and her guitar.

Objectives: Her number one objective is to honor the JedI code. Her other objectives include, vanquishing the Sith order, helping to bring down the Imperial resistance, and get her brother and sister, Cavan and Navan, out of the smuggling business.

Miscellaneous: Sleante is allergic to dust, so she keeps her room as free of it as possible. She’s not addicted to anything, and she doesn’t have any mental complexes. Her biggest weakness, as I already said, is her twin, Cleante, but she’s also very gullible. Also, sometimes she can lose her temper, something not becoming of a Jedi Knight.
