Physical Description: Ellena is petite with delicate facial features and graceful hands. She has very long auburn hair that she wears partially coiled up in ornate twists and buns. Her eyes are a hazel and she usually wears long diaphanous gowns and bracelets that ingle when she moves. She likes to wear a perfume that smells of exotic spice wood. Though she is always found in the anti-grav chair that she is restricted to, she makes it a point to always wear a large smile and a positive attitude. She has a kind face and a nurturing manner. 

Background: Ellena was born and raised aboard a large transport ship being used to transport immigrants from inner core worlds to outer rim worlds during the Imperial reign. Her mother and grandparents were aboard this ship as well, fleeing their occupied homeworld for a more obscure and less threatened haven in the outer reaches of the galaxy, where Ellena's Force sensitivity might go undetected by the Empire. This transport ship moved among the stars dropping immigrants where they choose and picking up more. Ellena and her family, never disembarked, preferring the mobile lifestyle until the Empire dissolved and they eventually alighted on Yavin IV to deliver Ellena to the new Jedi academy there. She was accepted as a Padawan and began her training while her family 
decided to keep traveling (having become accustomed to the life). Ellena's training went smoothly until the day came when she was to be chosen by a master. In a sparring demonstration, she was struck accidentally by her opponent's saber in the lower back, resulting in paralyses from the waist down. Her path toward knighthood was quickly ended and she took up a position in the Temple Infirmary. She has since been granted an honorary knighthood and has risen to the position of head healer. At 21, she married Keer 
Najoqui, a fellow Jedi and long time friend and they have lived happily in the Temple raising and training Padawans together. 

Personality: Despite the many challenges and disappointments she has faced in her career, Ellena has developed a determined and positive attitude. She almost never gets depressed or hopeless, always replacing feelings like those with productive activity – usually befriending or helping others. She is a warm, open and caring personality, making friends with almost anyone. She is very maternal and is the one to go to if ever in need of a kind word or good advice. She is enthusiastic when it comes to medicine and likes to share her knowledge with others. She doesn't like to dwell much on the past, though she will share her life lessons with those that they apply to. She is extremely devoted to her husband, and misses him terribly when he is gone away on missions, though she hides this well by keeping busy at her work. 

Objectives: To be a bright point in the day of everyone who comes through her infirmary. To heal minds as well as bodies and nurture a new generation of Jedi through care and teaching. 

Miscellaneous: Ellena's injury also resulted in the inability to bear children. She loves children though and more than anything, wants one of her own. Since that cannot be though, she tends to adopt Keer's apprentices as her own and treats them as a part of 
her family. She has recently taken Talitha Astarta as her apprentice healer.
