Physical Description: Byni is slightly short for a Bothan.She has white fur streaked with gold.Her eyes are green and her muzzle is bluish grey.

Background: Byni was born on the Bothan homeworld of Bothawui,to a prominent spy master and his wife.Byni never fit in with the other Bothans.Back biting and plotical intrigue were not her cup of tea.Although she loved her clan she had nothing against other clans.She had a giving spirit and spent most of her time helping the less fortunate regardless of species or clan affiliation.

When her Force abilty was recognized she went against her clan and family's wishes and joined the "do-gooder" Jedi as a student at the academy.She decided that the Force was leading her to become a healer.She met and became friends with Ellena Najoqui,The future head healer for the temple.Ellena had just started her studies as a healer when the two met.When Byni finished her studies and became a healer she immeidiately sat out to help those in need,regardless of species or political affiliation.She became known as the Common beings Jedi.Byni was considered by the general populace to be the Jedi who cared more about getting her hands dirty and helping the common creature than looking good running around, waving a lightsaber at the bad guys.

However,her no questions asked compassion has recently made her a pariah. Byni went into Imperial space to help the inhabitants of Tydra III who where being infected by a pestilence released from spores released when a large asteroid crashed into the planet.Her going to help Imperial citizens was not popular in the first place;but the Imperials where using the rest of the Tydra system as a staging area for their raid on Coruscant at the same time.A anti-Jedi contigent in the Senate learned of this through the press and accused her of knowing about the raid but doing nothing about it.Although this was false;she did not feel anything amiss in the Force,Byni was brought up on charges of treason by the New Republic Supreme Court. The Imperials let her travel that close to a staging area to create anti Jedi sentiment.The actual sites were surrounded by strategicaly placed ysalamiri.Imperial agents were the ones who leaked the information to the New Republic press that Byni was in the system the raid was staged from at the time of the raid.A very long,very nasty trial ensued.Her own brother,a prosecutor,destroyed her character during the trial.Her clan and family officialy and publicly disowned her.Even though she was found not guilty in court in the public's eye she is a traitor.Every refugee and disaster relief agency that she used to work with has cut all ties with her.She has few friends and her enemies are legion.

Her life in ruins she has decided to return to the temple and offer her services.Despite everything she remains hopeful and believes that all will work toward the Forces will.

Political Affiliation:Jedi,a pariah to all other New Republic agencies.

Personality: Byni is upbeat,caring,compassionate and extremely niave.She always believes the best about others.She is hurt that her family and clan disowned her;but refuses to harbor ill will toward them or any one else who has turned on her.She thinks they will realize their mistake.

Special Abilities: Byni is a gifted Healer.She is trained in healing through both conventional and Force aided means.She is an average fighter and has marginal telekinetic abilities.She cannot perform the Jedi mind trick.She is a good pilot of nonmilitary craft but is not qualified as a snub fighter pilot.

Important Possessions:Byni carries a mobile surgical kit given to her by Ellena, clothing , medical supplies and her lightsaber.She flys a two seat Y-wing that has been stripped of weapons and has had it's second seat area converted to carry her gear.

Objectives:To serve others and go on with her life the best she can.
