Physical Description: Aislinn is 5'6" and 130lbs. She has a slender build with graceful limbs and a slim waist, kept that way by Jedi training. Her hair is raven black and hangs nearly to her waist when braided. Her eyes are a beautiful emerald green with flecks of gold in them. As a Jedi, Aislinn wears flowing dresses of various material and a long black Jedi cloak over top of these. While beautiful, Aislinn's wardrobe is not always the best for fighting in and gets in her way when she does fight. She rarely wears pants. Her robe is something else that isn't quite the same as most Jedi. It has intricate embroidery around the sleeves, hem and hood. This embroidery is intricate, celtic-looking knots, spirals and triangular designs that are symbols of her planet. Though her clothes are distinctive in themselves, Aislinn also has a similar tattoo on the back of her neck. It is only seen when Aislinn wears her hair all the way up or takes off her outer robe that this mark is visible. She also bears a scar along the palm of her left hand.

History: Aislinn is from a planet that is known as Kaorut. A small, unobtrusive planet along the Rim, Kaorut is mainly a water planet that boasts of producing great peace-keepers and ambassadors. The Niamh family is an ancient and well respected family that has helped in some of the founding moments of the planet's monarchy. Though not royal or noble, the Niamh family is considered equal to the nobility and given the according respect. Often growing up to be advisors and officials for the monarchy, Aislinn's family wasn't happy when the heir of the family was marked by a Jedi Master and taken into training. Though Aislinn had two younger brothers, she is the oldest Niamh child and still heir to family estate and fortunes as well as the honorary title of 'Lady' when her parents die. When Aislinn was 11, Jedi Master Myxory Fahr began training her as a Jedi. Her family frowned upon this move and exiled their eldest daughter in all but name. Aislinn slowly began to think of her Master as her family and only on rare occasions did she think of her true family. Myxory was an excellent saber fighter with a quick mind and quicker reflexes. Although Aislinn became well versed in lightsaber fighting, her real strength turned out to be mediating and fine control of the Force. Just before Aislinn became a full Jedi Knight, she was sent with her Master to settle a civil war on a rather barbaric Outer Rim planet. Although the two sides where at a temporary truce, the atmosphere was explosive. At one of the meetings, an arguement broke out. Shots were fired and when the smoke cleared, Aislinn's Master lay dying and she had taken a glancing blow to her hand. Grief-stricken and in pain, Aislinn demanded justice for her Master, who's dying wish was that Aislinn finish the mission and become a Jedi. In a rash desicion, Aislinn executed the young men that had initiated the fight which killed her Master with her own hands, thus tempting the Dark Side. Ashamed, she brought an end to the civil war and returned to the Temple with only her clothing and silver-bladed lightsaber. She became a Jedi Knight, but had lost a good deal of her confidence about being able to combat the Dark Side. Now, Aislinn serves the Jedi Order above all and the New Republic that the Jedi work to protect.

Abilities: Aislinn's strong suits are negotiating and mediating as well as fine control over the Force. She is excellent at moving objects with the Force, as well as proficient at mind-reading and of course the occasional vision. Although rather good at lightsaber fighting, Aislinn is almost frightened of using the weapon again. She fears losing control and tempting the Dark Side. She will fight only to protect those most in need of it.

Personality: Aislinn is a serene young woman. She is capable of hiding her emotions well because of her very early training as an ambassador. She is kind and gentle and tries to help as much as possible. She broods about her past, about her family and her Master and the young men she killed in haste. These faces often come to her in terrible dreams and Aislinn rarely sleeps because of this. As though trying to make up for her past, Aislinn follows the rules firmly, rarely deviating from them. She dislikes violence and bloodshed and is a pacifist by nature. As such, she only fights in desperate situations and even then feels almost quilty about having to do so. She is worried that her past will catch up to her and that haunts her. Aislinn's face rarely shows emotion, though her eyes sometimes show flickers of her feelings. If one watches carefully enough, Aislinn's actions can give her away.

Objectives: To serve the Jedi Order and fight against the Dark Side which she fears above all other things. Aislinn also wishes to one day reconcile with her family and end her exile.

Misc: Aislinn has little confidence in her abilities as a Jedi. She feels that since she once touched the Dark Side, she is forever tainted. She fears fighting and violence. Aislinn also fears the day her parents die. She will then be the head of the formidable Niamh house and responsible for all it does.
