Physical Description: Kit is tall and athletically built. He has dark brown hair that is cut neat but often casually tousled. He has gray-green eyes and handsomely chiseled features. His preferred clothing consists of   loose cargo-type trousers over ankle-high combat boots and a close-fitting shirt. He also wears the short military jacket that bears his insignia from his time in the New Republic military (he's kept it throughout his experiences because it has his name on it, and at times was the only thing that reminded him who he was and what he stood for). Kit has many scars across his back and shoulders from his time in the spice mines, as well as numerous other physical ailments that resurface from time to time.  

Background:  Kit Ozik is Herron Ozik's older brother. He was brought up on Myrkr, as was she, by their parents. Very active and daring as a boy, he never found the desire to dedicate himself to studying or learning a trade. Though close to his family he nevertheless decided to leave home at the age of 19 and join the New Republic military forces as a pilot. He flew freighters and troop transport ships, and was working on certification to fly small fighters, when he, his ship and the rest  of his crew disappeared during a mission. His story is that pirates  captured the ship and, looking for nothing but profit, sold him into  servitude at the infamous Spice Mines of Kessel. In reality, Kit was betrayed by his nav. officer, also his fiancée, Charlena, who was an undercover Imperial agent. She turned the ship and crew over to the  Empire where they were tortured and interrogated for New Republic secrets. Then, unable to kill him, she turned him over to the Spice Mine wardens, where he spent his next 5 years. Kit has suffered the  brutal work and torture in the Spice Mines since then. His family assumed him dead and he was deeply mourned, but he has recently managed to escape the mines and regain his freedom.  

Personality: Kit naturally has a very jovial and good-natured  personality, which is probably one of the few things that helped him survive his experiences with the Empire and in the Spice Mines. He has a deep determination and will power. Though he possesses these strengths however, his times in the Spice Mines and his other painful experiences have had a detrimental effect on him. His good qualities have begun to wear down and get buried under a very beaten spirit. He has a new resignation to fate, especially when things look bad. This is good to the point that he has no qualms about death or risking his life, but on the other hand its quite depressing. He also has some deep-seated fears that he must work to overcome and some mental scars that result in an unbalanced mental state at times - he can easily be made to feel guilty and remorseful. Kit is often uptight and wary. He keeps a tight reign on himself and also has a tendency to keep tabs on others - either being suspicious of them, or wanting to protect them. He'll sometimes act disapproving or worried around people he is close to, because he is trying to protect them from things like what he  experienced.  

Objectives: Kit's objective, now that he has gained freedom, is simply to get back home to his family and reinstate himself back into normal life. Unfortunately, his parents were killed during his absence and his sister has left Myrkr for a new life. Unknowing of these facts, his goal is to get back to Myrkr and reunite with them. Once he finds out their fate however, his main goal will be to try to find Herron, and try to find a suitable place for himself in society once again.

Miscellaneous: Unlike his sister, Kit is not Force sensitive. He is however quite skilled in piloting, from his training in the NR military. His experiences with Charlena's betrayal, and torture and abuse in the Spice Mines have cultivated a paranoid nature and a strange reaction to physical contact - either a strong aversion to it or a desperate seeking for it.. He sometimes suffers from vivid flashbacks and nightmares. Despite all that though, he really is a nice guy most of the time and really tries to act normally. His relationship with Herron is very close, although they're not unused to the typical sibling spat every now and then. He feels very protective of her, but allows her her space and treats her as a peer.
