Physical Description: Emerging unexpectedly behind many young Imperial Officers, the daunting figure of Ian Sidere appears. The man stands at six foot two, and his battle hardened gaze, makes the hearts of many Imperial Officers tremble. A neatly organized solid white uniform adorns his above average body, this uniform is the mark of the Grand Admirals, but his is slightly modified and bears no golden shoulder paldrons (the gold "thingies" for the less literate ones). Shortly cropped, spiked, jet black hair, and icy forest green eyes give him a defined look. 

Background: Ian Sidere was born on the Imperial controlled world of Corellia. His family was one of the many working class, and lived in Corellia's major city, Coronet. Ian Sidere quickly rose to the top of his class, and he possesed an extensive knowledge of thematics. He wanted a career in the Imperial Navy, and this was because he was fascinated with the star streaked place known as space, and with the design of Imperial Ships. He submitted his application at fifteen, and talked with a local Imperial Navy recruiter. The recruiter was highly interested in Sidere, and so with a few special connections he was able to get Sidere accepted into the Navy, and placed in classes at Cardia. Sidere had studied many different courses, including advanced mathematics, and military tactics. In all of the SCCS(Ship Command Combat Simulation) programs at Cardia, he received a score much higher then anyone in his class, or anyone at Cardia at the present time. His potential was realized, and he was taken to Corsucant. At Corsucant he was taken to a private building with many other gifted children of his kind. He continued his studies and grew more knowledgable as time went on, eventually becoming the top of his class. He graduated when he was 18, and was offered a special option. The Emperor himself had elected twenty of the officers in this private school on Coruscant to become part of a special organization. This organization was an officer reserve corps program for extremely talented Imperial Officers, it was designed as a replacement method for the current twelve Grand Admirals. If a current Grand Admiral died then someone from this program would be elected to replace him, the more experienced officers being picked first. The officers in this Imperial reserve corps where sent various areas to continue training, Sidere was sent far into the Outer Rim, and he was stationed mostly at a research facility where he studied ship engineering, encrypted code, advanced military tactics, and various other categories. However, when  he was 20 the 2nd Deathstar was destroyed, and the Emperor, Lord Darth Vader, and 11 of the 12 Grand Admirals (Thrawn was in the Unkown Regions) had died. Unfournately with the Emperors death, the knowledge of his special Grand Admiral replacement project was lost forever. News of the Emperors death did not even reach Ian's location for ten years. (You have to figure that the Imperial Hiearchy was massively disfigured because of the loss of the Empire, many Outer Rim systems did not learn of the great problems that had occured, and did not find out for some time). When it did come Ian did not want to rush to the Empire's aide right away, and figured that other rulers would step up to regrasp control of the current Empire. Sidere had decided to take control of the area he was in, and convinced the abiding Governor to let him become his military visier. Continuing his studies for ten more years, he had learned that all of the other Canidates where supposedly dead. He had also learned the Empire was pushed back to extremly far lengths, and figured it was time to leave his unknown fortress. Unfournately leaving wasn't such an easy task, because he knew that the Governor would not allow his entire military or any of it to leave this area. So he quickly staged a plan and convinced the commanding officers of an Imperial Star Destroyer, Two Victory Class Star Destroyers, and a few support ships to leave this segment of the galaxy. He was able to escape before the Governor could realize, and due to the vicious nature of the planet the research facility was located on, the Governor had died because of a naturual disaster, leaving the remaining ships and territory in a state of confusion. Sidere also appointed himself Grand Admiral, but this appointment was fully regonized because he clearly lived up to it. 

Personality: Sidere does not speak much, and this leaves many vague ideas of what he is actually like. He usually only speaks to coordinate battles, and to those who he must deal with. To those he has spoken with, even on bad terms, remember him as cool and diligent, able to dissect the most intelligent of minds, and nonchalantly point out the errors of those around him. He does this without a sense of arrogance, which gives people a vague perception of him.

Miscellaneous: Grand Admiral Sidere has an amazingly sharp intellect, and his knowledge of tactics rivals that of the greatest Grand Admirals. He is a cool headed warrior, who uses cunning to his ability, and he is quite good at reading into people.
