Twenty years after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

A surprise Imperial raid on Coruscant leaves the Skywalker and Solo families dead or unaccounted for. The New Republic mourns their loss, but from the ashes new leaders arise to fill the places vacated by the Republic's great heroes.

The Imperial navy has been pushed back into the Rim by Alliance Forces, but still remains a threat. Equipped with at least a dozen known Star Destroyers and many smaller crafts, a new leader known only as Warlord leads his forces in the battle to regain the glory of the Empire.

To add to the Republic's many troubles, rumors of Sith in Imperial ranks have reached them. The fledgling group of Jedi training on Yavin IV must prepare for a great challenge to their abilities even as they grieve for their lost Master.

How to Join

  1. Read the rules for the game.
  2. Read the character rules.
  3. Fill out the character sheet with these rules in mind; at least half of our character submissions are rejected because players don't read the rules. Put a copy of your character sheet in the body of an e-mail and send it to rpg[at]starwarschicks[dot]com. Save a copy for yourself!
  4. Apply to join the mailing list at Yahoo!Groups.
  5. Wait until you hear back from an RPG Councilor. If your character is approved, the councilor will approve your membership to our Yahoo!Group and you can begin playing. If your character is not accepted, a councilor will suggest changes and you will be allowed to resubmit the character until he or she is accepted.

Welcome to the home page for the Star Wars Chicks Role Playing Guild, made possible by the blood, sweat, and tears of the RPG Council. Our sole purpose here is to have fun and indulge our love of Star Wars. It is open to any one who is a fan of Star Wars and wants to role-play in that universe. On our site we've tried to gather all the information we think you'll need to play. Follow the links above (if you're in frames) or at the bottom of this page, or take a peek at our Site Map to help you navigate.

The Mailing List

The SWC RPG has a mailing list that we use for announcements and gaming. To play in the regular storylining campaigns, all players must join the mailing list. Watching some of the current game will help you to understand what we do and how to play. You can read the archived messages from the Yahoo! site without subscribing to the list. More information can be found at Yahoo!Groups By joining the mailing list you have access to the "post" feature and can send direct e-mails to the mailing list, allowing you to participate in our game.

Character Creation

Everything you need to know to create a character for this game is in the Character Rules and the Character Creation area. Make sure you've read the rules and been thorough in your responses to our form before sending the character submission to us - those are our most common reasons for refusing a character.

You should hear back from a member of the RPG Council about your character within two weeks. If you haven't heard from us, check the Message Board for mention of your character - if the Council cannot contact a player for one reason or another, we post a note there. If that fails, try e-mailing us at rpg[at]starwarschicks[dot]com and asking about it.

Chat Gaming

Currently on hiatus. For more information on the game and how it was played, please check out the Chat Game home page.

Getting to Know Other Players

We have strict OOC Rules now on the mailing list, but that doesn't mean you can't get to know your fellow gamers informally.

On our Message Board you are free to discuss anything you like, and even the Councilors can be caught lurking around there should you need help.

Also check into the Yahoo!Groups Database section and look up contact info on the people you've been SLing with. If you put in your own AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo!ID, or e-mail address, you give others the chance to get in touch with you as well!
