The Gaming Universe

It's twenty years after the destruction of the second Death Star and the Battle of Endor. The galaxy is still recovering from the tyranny of the Emperor. While the New Republic has stablized and continues to gain ground, the challenge of uniting thousands of worlds continues to make its future eventful.

A surprise Imperial raid on Coruscant leaves the Skywalker and Solo families dead or unaccounted for. The New Republic mourns their loss, but from the ashes new leaders arise to fill the places vacated by the Republic's great heroes.

The Imperial navy has been pushed back into the Rim by Alliance Forces, but still remains a threat. Equipped with at least a dozen known Star Destroyers and many smaller crafts, a new leader known only as Warlord leads his forces in the battle to regain the glory of the Empire.

To add to the Republic's many troubles, rumors of Sith in Imperial ranks have reached them. The fledgling group of Jedi training on Yavin IV must prepare for a great challenge to their abilities even as they grieve for their lost Master.

With the reorganization of the galaxy, other parties have begun to reassert independence. The Hutts, in particular, have begun the process which will allow them to reestablish their strongholds.

The following information lists the official state of organizations and entities in our continuity. With the exception of the Time Line of Events, we do not follow the official, George Lucas Sponsored Storyline.

• Time Line of Events

  These are the official events of the Star Wars universe. The information has been taken from the SW Encyclopedia, novels, comic books, movies, etc. All of this constitutes our back story.

• The New Republic

  They may have won the war, but will they remain cohesive enough to continue to bring democracy and justice back to the world? Can they survive without the heroes of the Alliance?

• The Empire

  Though the Emperor, Darth Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and countless other supporters of the Empire have been defeated in their attempts to recreate the glory of the Empire, the tyrannical government still exists under the control of a new leader, the Warlord. While not the overwhelming threat that it once was, it still possesses the power to worry New Republic officials and citizens alike.

• The Jedi

  Seeking to train a new generation of Jedi to be the guardians and protectors of the New Republic, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker has created the Jedi Academy on Yavin. But now that he is gone, new Jedi have risen to take his place as the teachers of a whole new generation of Jedi.

• Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, and Mercenaries

  Usually shady characters who work alone or in pairs and frequent the backstreets, dark alleys, seedy cantinas and smuggler dens that exist throughout the galaxy. Commonly called "scum" by outsiders, this neutral category is proud to identify themselves as mercenaries, bounty hunters, smugglers, assassins, gamblers, pirates and any number of other questionable professions.

• The Neutral Zone

  In between the borders of the New Republic and the Empire lies the often wild, mostly dangerous Neutral Zone.
