Summary: Emotions come to a head as Obi-Wan tries to
deal with his feelings toward Lia.
Feedback: "You may fire when ready."
  **********************************
Tsalia Kai and Erryn Brum stood at the main desk of the Temple
Library scanning and coding new holos when Lia's comlink
  sounded.
"Lia," it was Obi-Wan, "I'm going to have to cancel our workout
  again tonight. Something's come up."
"Again?" When he was on Coruscant, Lia met with Obi-Wan
in the Temple training room three times a week to sparr. He
had cancelled all of their last four dates. The two had been
close their whole lives, barely a day went by that they did not
speak to each other. Now he was clearly doing his best to
  avoid her. "What's wrong?"
"I'm due in the training room. Bye." The transmission ended.
She tried contacting him again, but either he was away from his
comlink or wasn't answering. Something was going on and she
was determined to find out what it was.
  "Lia, are you all right?"
"Oh, sorry Erryn." She said smiling at the young man beside
  her. "Where were we?"
  *****************************
Erryn Brum watched Lia smooth down the front of her long white
dress. He loved that dress, the snug top hugged her curves
perfectly and the slits at the sides of the skirt made his heart
  beat faster.
Qui-Gon Jinn entered the library, taking Lia into his arms. Erryn
busied himself with things on the desk as the two shared an
intimate kiss. "See you tomorrow Kraana, Erryn!" She called as
the big Jedi whisked her out the door.
"You humans and your hormones!" Kraana said coming up
to stand at the desk with Brum.
  "What?"
"You need to get a life Erryn," the Calamarian said, "it's silly
the way you and that puppy Kenobi moon over Lia. Do you
really think she'd leave Qui-Gon Jinn for the likes of you? He's
enough to make me almost wish I were human. Too bad his
  skin's so dry."
  ************************
Lia slipped silently into the massive Temple training room and
behind a rack of practice dummies. Qui-Gon had been called
to the Council Chamber so Lia decided to track down Obi-Wan.
She watched as her friend sparred with another apprentice on
the opposite side of the facility. She had decided she would
confront him as he exited the locker room. She would find out
what was wrong and fix it. This had been going on too long.
Their workout ended soon and after Lia watched the other
padawan come out of the locker room and leave the training
area she decided she would go to Obi-Wan rather than wait
  for him to come out.
Lia entered the men's locker room, thankful no one else was
present, and began searching the rows of  lockers for Obi-Wan.
She found him in one of the back rows. He sat on a bench, his
head low, wearing only a towel around his waist. It tore at her
heart to see how sad he looked. She went to him and placed
  a hand on his shoulder.
  "Obi-Wan?"
The warmth of her touch startled him. He hadn't heard her
come in. She was so pretty and looked so concerned, he
wanted to take her in his arms, to tell her how much he
loved her. Instead her stood up, moving away from her
  touch.
"You shouldn't be in here Lia." He said tightening the
  towel around his waist.
"I was worried about you." She began to move closer
but stopped when he moved back trying to distance
himself from her. "Are you angry with me about
  something?"
Now she looked hurt and he had caused it. He hated
himself for it. He turned away, pretending to look for
  something in a locker.

"No, I've just been busy. You'd better go." He said
  shortly.
Tears welled in her eyes, her voice cracked as she
  tried once more, "Obi-Wan."
  "Please just go!"
"What's going on here?" Qui-Gon had come into the
locker room looking for Obi-Wan and had found him
wearing only a towel, shouting at a tearful Lia.
"Nothing." Lia said wiping away the tears with her hands
  as she hurried off.
Qui-Gon shot Obi-Wan a  long, questioning gaze, but
said nothing as he turned to go after Lia.
He caught up to her before she could exit the training
area and pulled her into a corner. She fell sobbing
into his arms. Qui-Gon held her close, tenderly combing
his fingers through her hair as she silently wept. He couldn't
bear to see her so upset. He knew of the strong feelings
Obi-Wan had for Lia, he found it hard to believe his
  apprentice would knowingly hurt her.
"What happened in there Lia?" He asked quietly.
"I'm not sure." She looked up at him, calmer now.
Qui-Gon wiped her tears away with his thumbs. "You
know he's been cancelling all of our sparring dates. I
wanted to find out why, to see what was wrong. He's
so angry at me. He won't say why though. He won't
talk to me, he won't look at me, he's shut me out."
Her eyes started to tear up again as she spoke.
  "I'll speak to him."
  "No, Qui-Gon, please don't do that! I don't ever
want to come between the two of you. Promise me
you won't talk to him about this."
He tenderly kissed her forehead, "I can't stand to
  see you hurt."
"I'm fine now. See, no more tears." She said forcing
  a smile.

Obi-Wan paced outside the entrance of Yoda's favorite
meditation chamber. He knew the old master came here
  each night at this hour.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi," Yoda exclaimed when he arrived,
"why find you here do I?"
The apprentice bowed his respect to the small master,
then answered. "I was hoping to have a word with you
Master Yoda. I've been having a problem."
  "A master you already have."
"I can't talk to Master Qui-Gon about this."
"Hmmmm," he hobbled inside the chamber motioning
for Obi-Wan to follow. "Yoda three." The small meditation
room became a misty swampland teeming with insects,
birds of prey and tiny scurrying creatures. "Sit," he said
pointing to a spot with his gimmer stick.
Obi-Wan squatted in the appointed place and waited
for permission to speak. Yoda sat perched on a nearby
stump, remaining silent for some time.
"What troubles have you that with your master cannot
be discussed?" The small Jedi finally asked.
"I'm in love with Tsalia Kai."
  "Knows this Qui-Gon does."
"Yes Master he does, we have talked about my feelings
for her. However, lately they seem to be growing stronger.
It hurts to be around her, to know she doesn't care for
me the way I do for her."
"Angry at her you are. Misplaced it is. Help her feelings
she cannot, any more than can you."
  "I know, It's just hard..."
"If an easy life you seek, a Jedi you can never be. Ever
constant is the love of a friend. To lose that is to lose all."
"Yes Master. Thank you." Obi-Wan said, rising. Yoda
was right, no matter how hard it was to know she could
not return love, he could not lose her friendship. She had
always been an important part of his life. He just hoped
  it wasn't too late.
"Padawan," Yoda called as Obi-Wan neared the door,
"meditation and masturbation the keys to serenity they
  are."

Qui-Gon and Lia sat close together on the sofa in Lia's
quarters. She was fresh from a shower, her hair damp,
wearing a short robe tied at the waist. Qui-Gon still wore
his day's tunics. They talked about their respective days,
with the exception of the incident in the locker room, as
  Qui-Gon ran a comb through Lia's hair.
He could feel the sadness she tried to hide as though it
were his own. He had never known Obi-Wan to willingly
hurt anyone, let alone Lia. What was going on with him?
If this was not resolved soon he would take matters into
his own hands, in spite of Lia's pleas to the contrary. He
could not allow her to be hurt like this, not by anyone.
Qui-Gon set the comb down and Lia turned to him,
slipping a hand inside his tunic.
"Will you be getting out of these things anytime soon?"
She asked, teasing his nipple with a sharp nail.
"I might need some help." He pulled her up into a
  tender kiss.
Lia's concerns melted away as she lost herself in
his kiss. She pressed closer as his hands slid over
the thin material of her robe, caressing here and
fondling there. Lia pulled the front of Qui-Gon's tunics
  apart, exposing his bare chest.
The door chime sounded at that moment, causing Lia
  to jump.
"We could ignore it." Lia suggested.
"It's Obi-Wan," Qui-Gon said rising and heading to the
  door.
Lia tightened the belt around her waist as Qui-Gon
  activated the door.
"Could I have a word with Lia?" The young man asked.
"I think that would be an excellent idea, Padawan,"
Qui-Gon answered, motioning for Obi-Wan to enter.
"I'll leave you two to talk while I take a shower."
Obi-Wan took a seat on the sofa near Lia as Qui-Gon
left the room. He felt suddenly nervous at the prospect
of speaking to her. He studied the floor for a moment
  gathering his thoughts.
Lia watched her friend with concern, "Obi-Wan," she
rested her hand on his thigh.
"I'm sorry," he began, "I have been awful to you lately."
Their eyes met as he spoke and he saw again how
much he had hurt her. "Lia, I'm especially sorry for the
way I treated you today. I was not angry with you, just
with circumstances that are beyond my control."
"It's alright Obi-Wan." She could see his remorse.
"No it's not." His eyes began to mist. "I hurt you. I
never thought I could do that to you."
Lia wrapped her arms around her friend, hugging
him fiercely. "It doesn't matter any more." Happy tears
spilled down her face as Obi-Wan returned her
  embrace.
The warmth and scent of her body threatened to
overwhelm him as they held each other. Obi-Wan
fought his strong desire to claim her lips in a passionate
kiss. Lia pulled back from his arms, smiling as she
swiped away her tears with a hand. How ever hard it
may be to see her with his master, he could not stand
the thought of never seeing that smile again.
"I should go," he said standing.
Lia followed him to the door, taking his hand to stop him
long enough to give him a kiss on the cheek. "See you
tomorrow?" She asked and he nodded.
"Everything all better?" Qui-Gon came up behind them,
rubbing a towel through his hair and dressed only in
  sleep pants.
"Much." The two said in unison.
Tossing his towel on a chair, Qui-Gon followed his
apprentice out into the corridor. "I'm proud of you,
Padawan," he said giving the younger man an
affectionate squeeze on the shoulder. " I am aware
of how you struggle with your feelings for Lia. I know
it has not been easy for you, especially because you
feel uncomfortable in coming to me for help. Know
that should you want it, I will always be here to give it."
  "Thank you Master."
"I was thinking you might seek out Erryn Brum. The
two of you have much in common."
  ****************************
"Now where were we?" Qui-Gon said to Lia when he
had returned from speaking with Obi-Wan.
Lia ran her hands over the smooth hard planes of
Qui-Gon's bare chest, planting tender kisses over
the entire area. He pulled on the belt at Lia's waist
and the robe fell open, exposing the swell of her
naked bosom. He slipped the silky material off her
shoulders, leaving her clad only in panties. He took
her easily into his arms and carried her to the bedroom.
Placing her gently on the bed, he removed her panties.
Qui-Gon shed his sleep pants then sat beside Lia on
the edge of the bed. He stared down at her lovely body,
his hand cupping her pretty face. She kissed his palm,
her eyes pleading, her breath quick with excitement and
arousal. He lightly touched her slender neck and collar
  bone.
Her skin tingled at his delicate touch. His hands were
warm, their heat penetrating. She closed her eyes,
lost in the sensation of his touch and the desire he
ignited. His hand slid slowly over her arms, she
shuddered as calloused fingers trailed across her
belly. She whimpered as she felt his hand caressing
her legs. Her body begged for release, her nipples
were painfully hard, her center wet with want. Lia slid
her hand along the inside of Qui-Gon's thigh to touch
the stiff member that stood ready. He moaned at her
touch but continued mapping her body with his hands.
He traced circles around her breasts, barely touching
the nipples with his thumb. Lia arched her back into
his touch, needing more. She grasped his penis and
began to stroke it easily. He continued his delicious
torture by gliding his fingers just above her mound of
curls and down along the inside of her thighs. She
spread her legs in desparation, she would do it
herself if she had to. Qui-Gon must have sensed
this for at that moment he dipped a finger inside her
  wet opening.
He watched her body react to the penetration, she
writhed in pleasure as he wriggled his finger in her.
She gasped, releasing his penis when he added two
more fingers to the first. Using the Force he enhanced
the feeling his fingers produced inside her, making them
seem larger as he pushed them in and out of her body.
Pre-ejaculate oozed down the length of his throbbing
member as the sight of her body nearing it's climax
excited him. Lia's body stiffened and she cried out as
the muscles around his fingers clenched and unclenched
again and again, spilling waves of sweetness over
  his hand.
"So beautiful." He said, his voice thick with desire. She
opened her eyes panting as her orgasm subsided. Lia
shuddered as he removed his fingers from her. He
stared at the glistening juices on his fingers then proceded
to spread them over Lia's breasts.
Lia purred as Qui-Gon began cleaning her breasts with
long swipes from his tongue. She tangled her fingers in
his silky mane, desire surging within her again.
He teased her tight nipples, pulling them between his
teeth. She gasped his name, her body close to climax
once more. Releasing his hair, she again took his
oozing member in her hand, "Please Qui-Gon," she
  pleaded, "I need you."

Her touch and her words tore at his control. He moved
to settle between her legs, taking her lips in a sensual
kiss as he slid the weeping head of his engorged organ
between her wet folds. Their moans of pleasure were
swallowed by the kiss as Qui-Gon sank deeper inside
  Lia's core.
Lia was dizzy with sexual ecstasy. Qui-Gon's lips were
soft and warm on hers, his breath sweet. His tongue
explored her mouth seductively as his cock moved
closer to home. She wrapped her legs around his
hips, her hands clung to his back as she came again.
Qui-Gon was fully sheathed in her tight opening now,
his arms were under her body to keep her in place.
He began to move in a steadily increasing rhythm,
back and forth, back and forth. Lia's vaginal muscles
milked his hot organ as her orgasm continued.
Qui-Gon released Lia's lips as he started to pound
into her. Their slick bodies smacked on impact. Lia's
nails dug into Qui-Gon's back as he slammed into
  her cervix again and again.
Lia was so wet and tight it took all of his control to
keep from coming too soon. Her climax was powerful.
It excited him like nothing else ever could to see and feel
her come. He continued to pound into her, the pressure
building, he could not hold off much longer. He felt Lia's
orgasm subsiding and tilted his hips on impact, hitting
just the place he knew would make her come again.
She screamed, coming intensely. Qui-Gon roared,
he could contain his climax no longer, his hot seed
  exploding inside her.
After a few more jerky pumps Qui-Gon collapsed
at Lia's side. Taking her in his arms he whispered
  breathlessly, "My only love."
"Forever." She replied, tenderly kissing him on the
  shoulder.
  *********************
Obi-Wan took Qui-Gon's advice reguarding Erryn
Brum. The two young men met for dinner in the Temple
dining hall the next evening. They fell easily into
conversation, both surprised to find that the other
was aware of their common bond.
"How did you know?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Kraana told me, she's empathic. She says we are
wasting our time because Lia will never leave Master
  Jinn."
  "She's right about that."
"How did you find out about me?" Erryn asked.
"I saw how you watched her in that cave on Agua 32,
but I wasn't really certain until Master Qui-Gon mentioned
  it to me."
"Oh." Brum said, his face red. "You know he spoke to
me on board the transport when we were heading back
to Coruscant. I was really nervous, I thought he might
have been going to question me about what went on
in the cave or something like that, but instead he thanked
me. He said there was no way he could ever repay me
for saving her from the Togorians. I was too stunned to
say it was her that got us off that ship and kept us alive
  until help came."
"You were so lucky spending all of that time alone with
her in the cave." Obi-Wan said.
"I was too out of it until the last day or so." Erryn said,
a faraway look in his eyes. "She was just wonderful,
the way she took care of me. I'll never forget it. That
last time she bandaged my leg, I wanted... well you
  know."
"I know, believe me, I know!" Obi-Wan laughed. The
two were quiet for a moment before Obi-Wan began
again. "You know I'm really happy for the two of them.
I've never seen my master so happy. But sometimes
it drives me crazy...when I think...what they might be
doing when they are spending the night in Qui-Gon's
  room, right next to mine."
"Oh, that would be difficult!" Erryn gasped. "How do
  you ever get to sleep?"
"Never mind." Obi-Wan replied, his face reddening.
  "Ahhh."
"I don't think it would be as hard for me to let go of
her if she hadn't been my first. " Obi-Wan couldn't
believe he had let that slip.
"What!?" Erryn gagged on the bite of food he had
just taken. "You mean you and Lia.... she was your
first? No way!" Obi-Wan nodded. "You are so lucky!"
"That was a long time ago, almost seven years now."
"Was it as good as I've always imagined it would be
  with her?" Erryn asked quietly.
"You have no idea!" Obi-Wan said enthusiasticallly.
"You two look like you're plotting to overthrow the
council." It was Lia, standing beside their table holding
a container of food. The two young men shot to their
feet when she spoke, their faces bright red.
  "Lia!" They blurted together.
"What are you doing here?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Picking up some dinner." She answered, watching
him quizzically. "I didn't realize you two were such good
  friends."
"We have found we actually have a lot in common,"
  said Obi-wan.
"I see, how nice," she said slowly, "well I've got to go,
Qui-Gon is waiting. See you tomorrow Erryn, you too,
  Obi-Wan."
Still standing, they watched as she left the large dining
hall. As they slowly returned to their chairs, Erryn said,
"We are pathetic." His eyes met Obi-Wan's and the two
  began to laugh.
Obi-Wan could not remember the last time he had had
so much fun. It felt good to laugh at himself. He and Erryn
vowed to meet once a week, when Obi-wan was on
Coruscant, to discuss their common bond.
