Summary: Obi-Wan and his girlfriend get in trouble, Mace and Qui make
a bet.
Obi-Wan and Sara made their way to the Garden on the east side of the
temple. It was their free period and a little making out was in
order. As the entered the garden, Obi-Wan was relieved to see that
the signal stick showed the gardener's shed was free. There was a
flowerbed next to the door and when the signal stick was sticking in
the ground it meant that the room was "occupied". Obi-Wan leaned
over and move the stick into the occupied position. Grabbing Sara's
hand he pulled her into the shed. They made their way to some boxes
stacked in the back of the small room. Taking a seat Obi-Wan pulled
Sarah into his lap and slowly began to kiss her. He hoped that she
would be willing to let him go to second base this time. After a bit
they both began to breath heavy and Obi-Wan figured this was his
chance. Slowly he moved his hand up from her hip and slipped it into
her tunic. She pushed his hand away and pulled back saying, "Maybe we
should stop." Obi-Wan let her push is hand away but quickly
recaptured her lips.
"I think she had the right idea, Obi-Wan, a deep voice interjected,
you really should stop."
Both teens jumped up quickly and looked to find their masters
standing in the doorway. Neither looked really happy at the moment
and both Padawan's blushed. Qui-Gon gave Mace a look and Mace
turned
to the teens. "I think it would be best if you returned to your
respective rooms. Qui-Gon and I will discuss your behavior and how
best to deal with you both. Until we return, I suggest you both
meditate about your actions today." Neither teen needed to be told
twice and both bolted out of the shed back towards their rooms. The
two masters turned and closed the garden door. Qui-Gon chuckled to
himself as he pulled the stick up and laid it down in the
flowerbed. "I still can't believe they are using the old stick
signal." Mace laughed and said, "I know, you'd think they would
have
thought of something more original by now." The two friends
continued their stroll through the garden. They had seen the signal
stick and remembering when they were Padawan's decided to
investigate. They had been surprised to find it was their Padawans
that were currently in the make out room. Qui-Gon sighed and turned
to Mace, "So how should we punish then?" Mace thought for a
moment
and replied, "I was thinking two weeks of extra mediation should
do
the trick." Qui-Gon frowned and said, "I was thinking two
week of
extra sparring and exercise." Mace stopped and looked at his
friend. "That's a bit harsh don't you think, mediation
should be
enough." "I disagree, I think mediation will only make the
situation worse." Mace thought a moment and said, "Care to
lay some
credit on that theory?" Qui-Gon smiled, "Ok I bet you
twenty-five
credits that two weeks of meditation won't do one bit of
good." "Your on," Mace replied back. The two masters
shook hands
and turned to administer the punishment to their Padawans.
Obi-Wan and Sara raced along a rarely used passageway in the Temple.
After two weeks of extra mediation, they finally had free time again.
Obi-Wan had done a lot of thinking about where they should spend it.
Turning a corner, he led Sarah out onto a balcony. The balcony
circled around the outside of the Temple and had many little alcoves
spread out along its length. The alcoves each contained a statue of
long departed Jedi masters. Obi-Wan pulled Sara into one and showed
her the bench situated behind it. "These were used by Knights
and
Masters to meditate but hardly no one comes here anymore." Sara
smiled and pulled Obi-Wan down to the bench. She had missed him
terrible these past two weeks and had decide during her mediations
that she would definitely go to second base with him.
Across from Obi-Wan's and Sara's hideaway was another alcove.
Qui-
Gon looked at his friend and held out his hand. Mace didn't say
a
word; he just reached into a pocket in his robe and pulled out twenty-
five credits. Qui-Gon quickly pocketed the credits and the two
masters went to retrieve their wayward Padawans.
