Star Wars Chicks is currently seeking talented individuals to fill new positions! StarWarsChicks.com is one of the top Star Wars sites on the Internet, and the only one dedicated to female fans and issues. Now we need your help to make it even better! We have immediate openings for the following positions (click for more information, listed below):

All Star Wars Chicks positions are unpaid volunteer and open to anyone at least 13 years of age. Star Wars Chicks is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community. We do this because it's fun, and for charity!

If you think you have the skills necessary to fill one of the following open positions - or if you would like to propose a new position for which you are qualified - fill out the application form and let us know! (Remember - the more information you give us, the more likely we are to fawn over your incredible abilities.) Questions should be directed to Crysta.

Apprentice Webmaster(s)

to assist with website updates, maintenance, and development. Must be comfortable with XHTML and CSS. Additional skills with MySQL, PHP and JavaScript preferred, but not required.

Arts and Crafts Councilor

to create a Crafting Corner for Star Wars related arts and crafts projects.

Editorial Writer/Reviewer

to write, collect, and publish articles, editorials, and news dealing with female fans of Star Wars. This site is for us women to share our hopes, dreams, and opinions with the world, and spread the word that girls like Star Wars too! HTML skills preferred, but not required.

Expanded Universe Apprentice

to update timelines and release schedules for books and comics and post related news. May also assist with writing reviews.

Fundraising Coordinator

to assist with fundraising, Fight for the Cure campaign, and new merchandise development. Previous experience working with a registered non-profit preferred.

Galactic Event Coordinator

to keep track of Star Wars events across the globe that Star Wars Chicks might be interested in attending. Duties could also include coordinating regional activities for Chicks and documenting attended events with articles or photos.

Graphic Artist

to assist with various projects, including development of postcard designs for new e-card service.

Non-profit Financial or Legal Advisor

to assist with non-profit paperwork and provide guidance and advice. Must have prior experience working with registered non-profits.

Recipe Writer

to reopen Aunt Beru's Kitchen by developing fun and unique Star Wars recipes.

Star Wars Chick Historian(s)

to develop and maintain a databank of biographies of female Star Wars characters. (Probably a team effort with an Apprentice Webmaster)
